CASALMA is the vision and emerging project of Victoria and Eric Guarino. Pseads is proud to serve as the incubator and fiscal sponsor for CASALMA as it grows. The partnership between Pseads and CASALMA was born out of a common commitment to creating journeys for learning, connection and community that inspire new relationships with ourselves, each other and the Earth. As Victoria and Eric share, CASALMA grew out of their travels and lived experiences: “Many hands build CASALMA, and it stands as an offering, extending an open invitation to all, regardless of origin or means. A space designed for the gathering of community—where food and fire act as unifying forces, facilitating connections and invoking the poignant reminder that nurturing the world around us inherently nurtures the world within us."
Growing a Global Heart
Cultivating the seeds of healing.
The shared inspiration of Belvie Rooks and Dedan Gills. The mission of Growing a Global Heart is to inspire the planting of a million trees along the Trans-Atlantic Slave Route in West Africa and the Underground Railroad to honor and remember the millions of unnamed, unheralded and unremembered souls who were lost during the slave trade, and to combat the ravaging effects of global warming and catastrophic climate change.
