Living Wisdom Collective

We become.

Intergenerational learning that brings elders, parents, educators, and youth together to build belonging, share wisdom, and strengthen communities.

Intergenerational openings

wisdom

Some forms of disconnection cannot be solved within one generation.

Living Wisdom Collective creates conditions for shared understanding across age, experience, and role.

Students, families, educators, and elders learn alongside one another, dissolving boundaries that keep generations isolated and rebuilding the connective tissue of community through story, reflection, creativity, and dialogue.

THE ROOTS

Wisdom moves through relationship.

An elderly man with curly gray hair and a beard smiling, wearing a beige jacket over a graphic T-shirt, outdoors with blurred background of other people and cars.

The work is informed by Pseads’ long history of intergenerational mentorship and community building.

Pseads’ relationship with mentors including Belvie Rooks and Dedan Gills helped shape a model of learning where age is not a boundary to contribution, where stories are living resources, and where the future is strengthened by making room for the knowledge carried across generations.

WHAT THE COLLECTIVE BUILDS

Belonging

People are seen across age.

Shared dialogue creates places where people can enter as whole human beings, not simply as students, teachers, parents, or elders.

Shared Wisdom

Experience becomes generative.

Stories, memory, reflection, and creative work preserve knowledge while allowing it to change in relationship with others.

Resilience

Communities have space to reconnect.

Intergenerational relationships create a wider network of care, perspective, purpose, and continuity.

What’s next

A sustained community infrastructure for connection.

The Collective is among Pseads’ newest initiatives. Early programming is establishing community partnerships and cross-generational cohorts, with a long-term vision that connects schools, families, healthcare, civic organizations, and communities around shared learning and belonging.

A forest is strongest when generations grow together.
