The Second Annual Harvest of the Heart

We extend heartfelt gratitude to our cherished community for joining us (in person and in spirit) on September 8, 2024, at Pseads’ second annual Harvest of the Heart celebration. Your presence and warmth filled the day with joy, love, and a profound sense of connection, making this gathering truly unforgettable. Together we honored the spirit of community, our shared commitment to supporting learners, educators, families, and the bright future we are building side by side.

This celebration was more than just a gathering; it was a living tapestry of joy where new friendships were sparked and connections deepened. In this moment of possibility, we felt the strong roots of a community standing together, united by a shared dedication to justice, equity and inclusion – ensuring every voice is heard, every story valued, and every individual embraced. Thank you for your time, partnership, and support in uplifting young voices and intergenerational visions, and championing a more compassionate future for all.

We were so deeply moved as we watched friends and families come together surrounded by the melodies of music, the power of poetry, and the words of the evening’s speakers. Each offering – whether spoken, sung, or exchanged in quiet conversation – reminded us of the profound impact we can have when we come together in service of a common cause. Here’s to much more to come!

The First Annual Harvest of the Heart Fun Raiser

From the bottom of our hearts, we’d like to thank everyone who joined us on August 20, 2023 for the First Annual Harvest of the Heart. Watching new friendships blossom and old ones tended to, and the glowing synergy of youth and elder wisdom, as we shared a meal under the Redwoods, materialized the spirit of Pseads – creating, communing, and inspiring from the heart.

The power of community felt strong, and we are grateful for everyone who gathered and shared in renewed sense of optimism for connection. We feel not only renewed, but further energized to multiply our mission of educating a wiser, kinder world into existence.

Extra special thanks to: Belvie Rooks, Thomasina Williams, Steve Uzzell, Drew Dellinger, Richard Worsmstall, Keenan Webster, Lucy Bakowski, Lizzie Lamorte, Amalya Rajparia, Zara Prime, Nadia Rajparia, and Victoria and Eric Guarino, for sharing your wisdom, reflections and gifts!

And endless gratitude to: Dedan Gills, whose love of humanity guides Pseads every single day, and to Woodlands Market for beautiful food and Fran Grace and Inner Pathway for making it possible to provide copies of Dedan’s book to all guests.
